So folks the much anticipated movie of this year is in theaters. Yes Transformers: Dark of the Moon has just completed its week in the cinemas and has already set numerous records in the box office. Optimus Prime, Sam Witwicky, Megatron along with the other famous crew is back with a bang! Well there is so much to enjoy in this film like action, giant robots, fighting and the lovely Rosie Huntington-Whiteley but hey to make things more interesting, I have gather some facts for you guys and you will definitely like it as it is some of the general facts about this film which will increase the knowledge of those who loves the Transformers Film Franchise. So lets begin from No 1 to No 10.
1. This is the first movie in Transformers Film Franchise which is shot in 3D.
2. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley replaces Megan Fox in this Movie as Shia LaBeouf’s love interest. Huntington is playing the role of Carly Spencer and Megan Fox’s role of Mikaela Banes was turned down by the director.
3. Before Transformers: Dark of the Moon went in production, director Michael Bay was planning to include Unicorn as the main protagonist of this film but it never happened. To make you clear Unicorn is neither a Decepticon nor an Autobot. But most of time he sides with the Decepticons. Unicorn is much larger and giant robot than all the Autobots and Decepticon.
4. Sentinel Prime who is really an Autobot and was the previous leader of the Autobots before Optimus Prime and the destruction of Cybertron is also one of the main antagonists of this film. In the climax of the film Sentinel Prime is killed by Optimus Prime.
5. This is Michael Bay’s last directorial venture of the Transformers Film Franchise. He will not direct the future sequels of this film as he already announced during the development of this film that this he will leave the franchise after this part to work on the other projects.
6. Many speculated that the third part will have a relatively large budget than Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. But surprisingly Transformers: Dark of the Moon had the lesser budget than the 2nd part with $195 million as Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen had the budget of $200 million.
7. Megan Fox expressed her regrets just after the release of Transformers: Dark of the Moon stating that she should be in this film and accepts that turning down the role was the bad move of his career.
8. Transformers: Dark of the Moon was scheduled for release on July 1 2011, but Paramount Pictures changed the date to two days earlier on June 29 2011 to receive an early response.
9. Along with Megatron and Sentinel Prime , Shockwave also serves as the main Decepticon Protagonist of this film
10. This is not the first time that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has collaborated with Michael Bay. She has worked with him on the Victoria’s Secret Commercial as she was one the main model for Victoria’s Secret.
